Partiellement Effacé - 2000
Partiellement effacé (partially erased), deals with searching different levels of our memory, redefining an assertion, once it has been put forward...Humor - 2001
This performance is interested in streams, rush, energy that cannot be contained or cannot be defined under any form.Matrix where bricks of ancient and future forms, distinct and partially erased signs.
Immersed in total darkness, the public and the dancers are confronted with an unconventional space with barely defined contours. A Black Box, Sound, Objects, Bodies and three performers – these are the sole components of this malleable contribution from Fabien Almakiewicz, who has been working on Serge Ricci’s projects with him since 2005, to offer a unique sensorial experience.
Instance, a moment suspended between two states that coexist and emanate from the same desire.
To invent a process of acceleration that consists of mixing epoch, moment and time, leaving time escape it's own chronology, that axe that gives time it's progression in one direction or another.
The notions of before, and after, meld, resting on the command of another order, space shrinks and becomes the reflection of a time that has lost all it's thickness and that has become a circular structure caught in a subjectiv duration.
Searching for the shape of contracted matter and being, the erosion of energy of one system, where the body unveils itself at the moment when we would want to veil it.
A proposition to follow the metamorphosis of a body, and to enter into a confusion analogue to what governs the dream state.
“Visible and mobile, my body is a thing among things ; it is caught in the fabric of the world, and its cohesion is that of a thing. But because it moves itself and sees, it holds things in a circle around itself. Things are an annex or prolongation of itself, they are incrusted into its flesh, they are part of its full definition the world is made of the same stuff as the body.”
Merleau-Ponty, eye and the Mind, 1960
Endless - 2003
Endless,an interrupted ronde, a gathering of dots, of lines and surfaces wich indulges successive
stratums of continuous variations, mimicking the imprecision of time.
